Your voice matters! As we approach the upcoming elections, it's important to ensure that you are informed and prepared to cast your vote. Here’s everything you need to know about voting in Citrus County:

1. Registration Information

  • Register to Vote: If you’re not yet registered, you can register online through the Florida Division of Elections website or visit the Citrus County Supervisor of Elections office.
  • Update Your Registration: Moved recently or changed your name? Be sure to update your registration information to ensure you’re listed correctly. You can do this online or by visiting the Supervisor of Elections office.

2. Voting Options

  • Early Voting: Citrus County offers early voting to make it easier for you to vote on your schedule. Check the Supervisor of Elections website for early voting locations and hours.
  • Vote-by-Mail: If you prefer to vote from home, you can request a mail-in ballot. Submit your request to the Supervisor of Elections office to receive your ballot in time. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure your vote is counted.
  • Election Day Voting: On Election Day, find your designated polling place on the Supervisor of Elections website or by contacting their office.

3. What to Bring

  • Vote-by-Mail Request Deadline: Florida Statutes require civilian ballots shall be mailed 40 - 33 days prior to election day. Military and Overseas ballots shall be mailed no later than 45 days prior to election day.
  • Election Day: November 5, 2024
